ORDERS AND SHIPPING
We would love for you to visit our shop. We are open 7 days a week (except on major holidays) from 10am – 6pm. If you cannot visit the storefront, we will gladly ship you any item you see on our site, or any other item in our designer’s current line.
Please allow us 2 to 5 business days to receive and process your orders. Once your order has been processed, your item(s) will be shipped within 48 hours. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. We ship either UPS or USPS and shipping rates are determined by weight and destination at point of purchase. We will contact you with shipping cost once it is calculated.
Certain artists we work with are capable of various degrees of customization – this can include changes in ring size, chain length, or stone choice. These types of alterations would be considered a special order. Prices on special orders vary depending on size, stone, and price of gold, etc. Special orders are non-returnable and non-refundable and require a deposit of 1/2 the total price.
These custom orders take between 2 – 8 weeks to make and depend on the production schedule of the individual artist.
Every once in a while you may order something which appears to be in stock, but has actually sold before we have had a chance to align our online inventory. When this occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible to let you know if it is something we are able to order again for you.
If you do not know your ring size, we highly recommend having your finger sized by a local jeweler and asking for your US ring size. We are responsible for sending you the ring size you ordered. However, we cannot be responsible for determining your ring size. (Some people wear their rings loose, some tight. The size is your responsibility.) If you live in the US and need a ring sizer, please email us and we will do our best to help you!

In Oregon there is no sales tax. We will run your credit card or send a paypal invoice only after we have verified card details, received credit authorization, and have confirmed stock availability and/or custom order instructions.
We hope you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are unhappy with your purchase you must return the item to us within 5 business days of receiving it, the day you receive it counts as a day. Items will not be accepted after 5 business days. Please notify us right away at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are returning an item and we will email you the instructions for shipping the item back to us. Do not return an item without first contacting us. The buyer pays the cost of return shipping. The item(s) being returned MUST be returned in its original condition with the tags still attached and untampered with in order to receive a refund. Golden Whale will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of return packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to the Golden Whale Jewelry Store. Online orders may be returned in person to the store within 5 business days for a store credit or exchange. Custom and Special orders are final sales, and thus may not be returned or exchanged.
Our jewelry is sold in, as-is condition. Jewelry, like all material, is susceptible to damage and requires preventative measures and maintenance. It is important to be aware of your jewelry while wearing it and to choose pieces that are appropriate for your lifestyle. We recommend removing all jewelry, especially rings, in situations when abnormal contact is expected.
If an item purchased from Golden Whale incurs damage, please contact the store. We will review the damage and possible cause with our jeweler, and contact you with an estimate for the repair.
